Description
Miami-Dade County is soliciting a contractor to provide as-needed maintenance and emergency repair services for swimming pools, spas, and splashpads at multiple county park facilities. The scope includes heaters, filters and sand replacement, pumps and motors, propane gas systems, chemical and chlorine distribution systems, low-voltage substrate lighting, plastering and stuccoing, tile replacement and repair, and plumbing and piping components such as drains, returns, gutters, skimmers, floor intakes, wall inlets, aerators, blowers, and splashpad water structures. The estimated value is $190,000, excluding contingencies and dedicated allowances. The contractor must hold the specified general building, swimming pool, and master plumber licenses and obtain and submit required permits before performing work. The contract is a single-trade contract under the Miscellaneous Construction Contracts program, awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, with an anticipated start date of December 30, 2026 and 365 calendar days for completion. No bid, performance, or payment bond is required; insurance and a certificate of insurance are required.
