Description
The City of Susanville is soliciting sealed bids for Project No. 26-03, involving concrete site work associated with a City-provided pre-cast bathroom building at Pat Murphy Little League Field. The selected contractor will perform site clearing and preparation, grading, import and compaction of fill and aggregate base, concrete foundations, curbs, landings, walkways, steps, an exterior ADA ramp, truncated domes, drainage swales, reinforcement, forming, finishing, and related work shown in the project plans. The bathroom building and its placement will be provided by others. The work includes concrete with a minimum specified compressive strength of 4,500 psi, required reinforcement and compaction testing, site restoration, permits, inspections, prevailing-wage compliance, and applicable public-works labor and subcontracting requirements. A valid California Class A or Class B contractor's license, or an approved combination of specialty licenses, is required. Bidders must submit the City-provided bid documents, a 10% bid bond, non-collusion affidavit, statement of qualifications with three similar project references, and subcontractor information. Performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract price, and insurance are required after award.
