Description
The City of Sarasota is soliciting primary and secondary vendors under a task-work-order-driven contract to provide concrete and related products for maintenance projects throughout the city on an as-needed basis. Required products include metered Class NS concrete with a minimum strength of 2,500 PSI, fiber additive products containing at least 19% zirconia, and accelerant admixture products listed on the Florida Department of Transportation Approved Product Listing. Concrete must be delivered with FDOT-format delivery tickets and within the specified delivery windows. The contractor must support standard, after-hours, and emergency deliveries, with emergency response defined as delivery within a two-hour window. Pricing is requested for concrete deliveries by quantity, fiber additives, accelerant admixtures, on-site pumping services with a two-hour minimum, after-hours service, and emergency response. Subcontracting is prohibited except for pumping services, and the contract requires prior approval of any permitted subcontractors.
