Description
The City of Calipatria is seeking qualified individuals or firms for one or more professional service agreements covering city planning and/or city engineering. Planning services include land-use planning, development-project review, grant administration and reporting, environmental documentation, public inquiries, and preparation of staff reports and resolutions. Engineering services include plan checking, technical reports, support for bidding public-works construction projects, civil design, construction management for locally funded projects, and advice to City staff and City Council on public-works improvements. Both roles may require attendance at public meetings. The existing submission requirements include qualifications and experience materials, team resumes, an organizational chart, relevant project lists, references for at least three similar organizations, sample staff-report and preliminary-engineering-report work products, general-requirements statements, and a separately sealed hourly-rate schedule. The initial agreement term is two years with three additional one-year extension options; compensation will be negotiated after qualifications-based selection, and price will not be used in evaluation.
