Description
The District seeks a contractor specializing in running track systems to renew the track at Fairview High School. Respondents must price three alternatives: remove and replace the existing rubber track surfacing; remove the rubber surfacing, mill and overlay the asphalt, and restripe; or re-top or respray and restripe. The full-replacement option includes a $50,000 allowance for asphalt repair. The attached field exploration report describes asphalt and subgrade conditions and provides context for evaluating the alternatives. The selected contractor will provide and install the proposed system, coordinate product delivery, manage materials and debris, protect the site, and provide stormwater and site logistics plans. Proposals must include product samples by the submission deadline, a detailed work plan and schedule, qualifications, references, and separate pricing. The contractor must be an authorized installer for the proposed system’s manufacturer.
