Description
The Port is seeking a contractor to perform controlled demolition of the northwest corner of Cruise Terminal 25 in accordance with the construction drawings and remove and legally dispose of the demolished materials. The work includes demolition of specified roof, wall, and column elements, protection of Port property, and keeping terminal operations unobstructed. Work is prohibited on dates identified as “CT25 SHIP” days in the operations schedule. Bidders must submit a lump-sum price, a demolition plan describing equipment, sequence, and methods, and the proposed number of calendar days to complete the work. The solicitation also requires a bid form and a 5% bid guarantee; the successful contractor must provide performance and payment bonds, each for 100% of the contract price. Insurance coverage is required under the attached insurance requirements.
