Description
The City of Cleveland is seeking professional community engagement, strategic communications, and public information consulting services to support implementation of its Parks and Recreation Plan, adopted in 2025. The selected consultant will design and execute a comprehensive community engagement process and produce clear, transparent, accessible, and respectful public-facing communications explaining the plan's Level of Service Standards recommendations. The work must help residents understand how the recommendations support long-term sustainability, equity, safety, maintenance capacity, and quality of service across Cleveland's parks and recreation system. The project will address potentially sensitive recommendations involving optimization of public assets and their effect on residents' relationships with local parks and recreation facilities. The consultant will develop engagement and communications strategies, facilitate public participation, collect and analyze feedback, and create communications materials for implementation. Existing proposal requirements include separate non-editable PDF Services Proposal and Fee Proposal files, a proposed project schedule, specified City forms and compliance materials, and submission through the designated procurement portal.
