Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quote for one stainless-steel automated cage and rack washer to replace an existing unit at the Northeast Ohio VA Health Care System. The washer must be a Lynx Cage and Rack Washer Model 420RS or equivalent and provide approximately 48 inches of interior width, 88 inches of height, and 128 inches of length. Required features include stainless-steel construction, automated rotary spray washing, programmable wash cycles, safety systems, touch-screen controls, steam heating, drain cooldown, exhaust integration, chemical-pump signaling, two wash racks, and a panel-mounted printer. The equipment must be delivered FOB destination by December 15, 2026, and include the stated warranty. An optional line item covers transportation and delivery, removal and full disassembly of the existing cage washer, installation, in-service and start-up services, commissioning and testing, and training for government personnel. The solicitation permits brand-name-or-equal products, but equivalent products must be clearly identified and supported with sufficient descriptive material demonstrating compliance with all salient characteristics. The requirement is a total small-business set-aside, and award will consider technical capability, past performance, and price.
