Description
Montgomery County, on behalf of its District Attorney's Office and Office of Children and Youth, seeks a provider to deliver forensic interviewing and family and victim advocacy services for alleged child sexual abuse cases referred by those offices. Required services include legally sound, neutral forensic interviews; coordination with law enforcement, child welfare, social services, and a multidisciplinary team; recording and providing digital copies of interviews; monthly multidisciplinary team meetings; referrals for medical, mental health, and other services; crisis counseling; court accompaniment; parent and child education groups; and liaison services. The provider must operate a safe, secure, child-friendly facility meeting specified National Children's Alliance standards and facility requirements, provide appropriate recording, security, and computer systems, and become fully accredited by the National Children's Alliance within a period acceptable to the County. The provider must also assess potential victims of commercial sexual exploitation of children and comply with applicable confidentiality, HIPAA, and other legal requirements.
