Description
The U.S. Postal Service seeks a contractor to provide regular contract delivery service on HCR 961A6. The work includes transporting mail along a scheduled route, casing and sorting mail, loading and unloading at postal facilities, and delivering and collecting mail at designated offices and customer boxes. Service is scheduled daily except Sundays and holidays, with additional trips possible when ordered. The contractor must provide a vehicle with at least 120 cubic feet of usable load space, suitable backup equipment, and a cellular phone for two-way communication. The offer must include a detailed operations plan, supplier eligibility and capability information, past-performance information, representations and certifications, PS Form 7405, and a completed Highway Transportation Contract Cost Worksheet. A subcontracting plan is required when the stated conditions apply. The contract term is December 16, 2026, through September 30, 2032; the solicitation describes a fixed-price contract with economic price adjustment.
