Description
The U.S. Postal Service seeks a contractor to provide Contract Delivery Service for route HCR 996B8, serving the Wasilla-to-H035 route. Work includes casing, loading, transporting, and delivering mail, with scheduled service daily except Sundays and holidays. The route schedule estimates 12,880.5 annual miles and 3,788 annual hours; the contractor must verify actual mileage and hours and include all expected costs in its annual price. The contractor must provide two vehicles with at least 120 cubic feet of usable load space each, suitable standby equipment, cellular communication capability, and secure, enclosed mail compartments. The proposal must include an operating plan, supplier eligibility, past-performance and capability information, representations and certifications, a completed PS Form 7405, and a completed highway transportation cost worksheet. A subcontracting plan is required when the stated contract-value or subcontracting conditions apply. The contract term is December 14, 2026, through September 30, 2030; renewal may be negotiated by mutual agreement.
