Description
The New York State Office of Mental Health is soliciting bids for removal and replacement of deteriorated concrete pathways and related site improvements at Buildings 55 and 57 of the New York City Children's Center. The work includes demolition of existing reinforced concrete paving and site elements; installation of cast-in-place concrete sidewalks with welded-wire reinforcement, 4,000 PSI concrete, expansion joints, curbing, sealant, aggregate base, and concrete pumping; masonry, earthwork, backfilling, grading, landscaping restoration, and adjustment of manhole risers and covers. The contractor must also provide mobilization, equipment, traffic control, temporary sanitation, barriers, fencing, dumpsters, debris disposal, utility protection, and coordination with facility operations. Prevailing wages apply, and bidders must address New York State MWBE, SDVOB, EEO, insurance, workers' compensation, disability benefits, licensing, and Department of Labor registration requirements. The award will be made to the responsible and responsive bidder offering the lowest total bid amount. Electronic bids must be submitted by email, with the solicitation number and vendor name in the subject line.
