Description
The New York City Department of Transportation seeks a qualified consultant to develop, deploy, integrate, operate, support, and maintain existing and future Transit Signal Priority (TSP) corridors. The scope covers approximately 200 miles and about 3,500 signalized intersections, with plans to deploy and integrate up to 3,000 additional intersections. Services include troubleshooting communications, networks, devices, servers, traffic-control databases, and signal-controller configurations; monitoring TSP operations; analyzing bus, system, and field-controller data; simulation modeling; dashboard enhancement; database and data-warehouse administration; corridor mapping; reporting; and support for adaptive TSP operations. The consultant must provide traffic engineering, systems engineering, data analytics, project management, and professional services, including licensed New York State professional and traffic engineers, data scientists, and qualified key personnel. Deliverables include technical memoranda, configuration and troubleshooting documentation, operational and performance reports, dashboards, system diagrams, implementation plans, project schedules, and status reports. The proposed contract term is four years, with payment based on loaded hourly rates and specified direct costs subject to a not-to-exceed fee. Responses must be submitted through the city's online procurement portal, and the solicitation uses a qualifications-based selection process.
