The Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s New York City Transit division is soliciting bids for an A+B construction contract covering abrasive blasting and painting of elevated structures; repair and replacement of structural members; exterior painting of wayside buildings on the elevated structures; repairs to exterior components and fenestrations; and demolition of one signal tower. The solicitation identifies a 1,284-calendar-day contract term. A virtual pre-bid conference and an in-person site tour are scheduled for September 29, 2026. Vendors must be registered with SAM and obtain an MTA bidder/supplier number to request the bid documents.
