Description
Orange County Housing and Community Development (OCHCD) has released a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for supportive housing projects. The NOFA makes available up to $12.05 million in federal and local funds, including HOME Investment Partnership Program, HOME American Rescue Plan Program, Mental Health Services Act, 15G Reserves, and Housing Successor Agency Funds. These funds are intended to support the acquisition, new construction, and acquisition/rehabilitation of supportive housing for extremely low-income households experiencing homelessness. Additionally, up to 150 Housing Choice, Mainstream, and/or Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing Project Based Vouchers (PBVs) are available for eligible households. Small-scale housing projects are eligible if they meet the specified criteria.
