Description
SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is requesting a best-and-final price and lead-time quotation for multiple fabricated ultra-high-vacuum components. The requirement includes clamp diamond rings, collimator tubes, identifying plates, collimator mounts, light-tight bases in several sizes, HE YAG retainers, and diode blocks, with quantities specified in the solicitation and accompanying drawings. The quote is for products only; on-site services are not permitted. Technical requirements include dimensional inspection reports; no EDM machining without prior SLAC approval; no sanding discs, grinding wheels, abrasives, sulfur-containing cutting fluids, or silicone lubricants; cleaning of parts before welding; and electropolishing for specified base components. The supplier must provide applicable HTS codes and ECCNs, complete the attached Representations and Certifications Supplement, accept the attached SLAC terms, and identify proprietary or confidential information. Selection will use a lowest-price, technically acceptable method, and the resulting purchase order will be fixed price.
