Description
The City seeks qualified service providers to deliver aquatic recreation and training classes through its Recreation Department. Proposed offerings may include Discover Scuba Diving, Discover Snorkeling, Scuba Challenge, Kayak Roll School, and Stand-Up Paddle Board Basics; providers may propose some or all of these or recommend other suitable programs. Classes should include beginning-level options, with intermediate and advanced offerings where appropriate, and serve participants of varied ages. The City may make multiple awards. Providers must hold relevant instructor certifications for the classes they propose, or comparable certifications. The proposal must describe the programs offered, class sizes and staffing, qualifications and experience, references for similar programs, and proposed class costs and revenue share. The City requires at least $1 million in general liability insurance and workers’ compensation and employer’s liability insurance, or a waiver where applicable. The City prefers local providers in Northern Colorado. Programming is expected to run in three annual trimesters, and the sample agreement provides for an initial one-year term with up to four additional one-year extensions.
