Description
The City of Greeley is soliciting proposals for an identical or approved-equal top-entry mixer to replace the existing Philadelphia 3809S mixer used for powdered activated carbon slurry at Boyd Lake Water Treatment Plant. The base bid must include the mixer gearbox and motor, motor coupling, mounting and support components, shaft connection, required accessories, delivery, and startup and commissioning. The existing pedestal, shaft, and impeller may be reused if compatible and verified to be in good condition; alternative bids are requested for a new shaft and impeller and a new metal pedestal if required. The supplier must provide design verification, mixer specifications, dimensional and assembly drawings, equipment data, operation and maintenance documentation, performance evidence, spare-parts information, warranty details, lead time, and a completed bid schedule. The mixer and associated equipment are generally required to be manufactured in the United States, operate continuously during the treatment season, and be suitable for outdoor exposure and the specified process conditions. Delivery is required within 26 weeks of purchase order or notice to proceed, and the supplier must provide onsite startup and commissioning.
