Description
The Town seeks quotes for estimated quantities of chemicals used at its water and wastewater treatment plants during calendar year 2027. Requested products include aluminum sulfate, sodium hypochlorite, sodium hydroxide, sodium bisulfite, sulfuric acid, citric acid, sodium permanganate, magnesium hydroxide, MicroC2000, and polymer. Pricing must be provided per gallon for liquid chemicals, with lead times, guaranteed-pricing terms, and any surcharges or delivery limitations clearly stated. Quantities are estimates and do not guarantee a minimum purchase or cap the maximum quantity. Supply includes as-needed deliveries beginning January 1, 2027. Containers must be returnable, and delivery vehicles must support safe unloading; vendors are responsible for spill cleanup. Water-treatment chemicals must meet AWWA standards and have current NSF certification for drinking-water use, with certification included for each proposed chemical. Deliveries are accepted on weekdays during stated operating hours, and no weekend or after-hours deliveries are accepted.
