Description
Greater Hartford Gives Foundation invites eligible organizations to apply for grants of up to $50,000 for summer 2027 camperships, enrichment opportunities, tutorial experiences, and Counselor-in-Training programs. Programs must serve Hartford youth and/or people of any age with disabilities in the Foundation's 29-town region. Applicants must meet the Foundation's basic grantee criteria and have at least one summer program experience or at least one year of relevant experience; 2026 summer grantees must complete their final reports to be eligible. Organizations currently receiving a core support grant through the Hartford Foundation are ineligible. Nonprofit community groups without 501(c)(3) status may apply through a fiscal sponsor. Applications are invitation-only: prior 2023–2026 summer grantees are automatically invited, while new or previously denied applicants must first request an eligibility interview. Preference is given to Black- or Latine-led organizations. The Foundation expects to award up to $750,000 total. Applicants must complete the online grant application by January 13, 2027, at 11:59 p.m.; awards are expected to be announced in April 2027.
