Description
Weld County seeks bids for new Amerex fire extinguishers and mounting brackets, as well as maintenance of existing extinguishers and three Ansul fire suppression systems. The scope includes annual extinguisher inspections, semiannual inspections of the Ansul systems, and additional testing or servicing as identified during inspections. Bidders must price all listed products and services, including extinguisher types, inspections, maintenance, hydro testing, recharging, O-ring replacement, and disposal, using the provided pricing sheet. A single award will cover both products and services. The initial contract term is January 1 through December 31, 2027, with up to three additional one-year extensions at the County’s option. Extinguisher products must be Amerex brand, with no substitutions. Fleet extinguisher service requires a vendor location within 20 miles of the County Facilities Building, unless the bidder guarantees free next-day scheduled pickup and drop-off.
