Description
The City of Mission is soliciting proposals for 20 automated external defibrillators and two additional training units to replace aging equipment deployed across City facilities and vehicles. Each unit must include adult defibrillation pads, pediatric pads or integrated pediatric functionality, a long-life battery, required cables or connectors, a rugged carrying case, and quick-reference instructions. Devices must have durable, weather-resistant construction, clear audio and visual prompts, CPR feedback, and automatic or semi-automatic shock modes. The AEDs must support post-event data downloads by Johnson County Med-Act through USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or a manufacturer-specific method, with file formats compatible with Med-Act's analysis systems. Proposals must include itemized pricing, delivery schedules, standard warranty details, optional extended warranty alternatives, training information, support details, a detailed description of the offered models, a compliance statement regarding Med-Act data requirements, vendor background, and at least three references. Training on the selected units is required.
