Description
Jackson County is seeking a contractor to provide plumbing services on a project-by-project basis for various County departments. The scope includes minor plumbing parts and repairs; installation and replacement of water, sewer, wastewater, and underground drain lines; plumbing fixtures; campground, park, marina, courthouse, corrections, and building plumbing work; trenching and backhoe work; sewage treatment plant installation; and associated engineering and survey information. The contract is estimated at $560,000 annually and will cover projects generally ranging from $25,000 upward. The contractor must provide 24-hour, seven-day availability, respond to non-emergency requests within 24 hours, and have a qualified plumber on an emergency job site within two hours of notification. Bidders must submit hourly rates, overtime and weekend/holiday rates, material and subcontractor markups, service availability, qualifications, references, required affidavits and forms, and applicable MBE/WBE/VBE participation information. Prevailing wage rates may apply to repairs exceeding $75,000.
