Description
The contractor must install approximately 1,829 linear feet of 8-inch force main, including horizontal directional drilling and open-cut installation; construct polymer-concrete air-release and meter vaults, fittings, a gravity manhole, and related connections; abandon approximately 1,833 linear feet of existing 8-inch cast-iron force main with flowable fill; abandon an existing air-release valve vault; pressure-test the new force main; and complete pump station improvements, including a new meter vault, bypass connection, drain line, sitework, access-drive construction, and restoration. The work also includes erosion and sediment controls, tree protection, temporary pumping, curb and asphalt replacement, manufacturer and subcontractor questionnaires, and coordination with existing utilities and private facilities. The contractor must provide a 5% bid bond, attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit, and submit the bid and required attachments electronically through IonWave. The successful bidder must substantially complete the work within 120 consecutive calendar days and complete final work within an additional 30 consecutive calendar days.
