Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is soliciting general-practice physician services for the 120-resident Carl M. Brashear Radcliff Veterans Center. The contractor will provide attending-physician coverage, resident evaluations and management for scheduled and acute encounters, admissions, transfers and discharges, medical orders, progress notes, medication reviews, care planning, death certificates, and coordination with facility staff and other healthcare practitioners. Required physician visits include at least every 30 days for the first 90 days after admission and at least every 60 days thereafter, subject to applicable regulations. The contractor must provide nursing-facility rounds as needed, 24-hour-per-day, 365-day-per-year emergency on-call coverage, hospital and emergency-care coordination, resident transport coordination, billing support, credentialing, background checks, and compliance with Kentucky, federal, Medicare, Medicaid, Veterans Affairs, and long-term-care requirements. Physicians must be licensed in Kentucky and qualified to practice there. The initial contract term is anticipated to run from October 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028, with up to two additional two-year renewal periods. Proposals require separate technical and cost submissions, with pricing provided as a monthly flat rate.
