Description
Louisville Water Company is seeking unit-price bids from pre-qualified contractors to provide equipment, tools, labor, and related services to pinpoint and repair portions of its water distribution system. The scope includes 1-inch and smaller water services, 1 1/2-inch and larger water services, 4-16-inch PVC water mains, 4-16-inch ductile iron water mains, valves, domestic services, fire services, and fire hydrants. Work will be assigned on an as-needed basis under a master agreement, and multiple contractors may be awarded contracts. Bidders must be pre-qualified in all applicable categories with a bid limit greater than $500,000. No estimated contract amount is provided. A bid bond is not required, but payment and performance bonds are required for individual assignments, including Louisville Water-supplied materials, estimated above $250,000. The company may use qualifications, proximity, mobilization capability, unit prices, itemized costs, and availability when assigning work. The Company Local Preference Program applies.
