Description
Jefferson County is requesting a proposed planning budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year. The budget includes revenues from home occupation and business licenses and development code permits. Expenditures cover county planning salary, FICA, retirement, employee health insurance, workers compensation insurance, consultant fees, janitorial services, communications, postage, utilities, rents and leases, legal advertising, office supplies, operating supplies, subscriptions and dues, education and training, and equipment. The total requested budget is $348,299, with $267,099 required from the general fund.
