Description
Jefferson County is proposing a budget for its Building Department for the 2026-2027 fiscal year. The budget includes revenues from county and city building permits and contractor's licenses, and expenses for building inspection salaries, FICA, retirement, employee health insurance, workers compensation, consultant fees, janitorial services, travel, conferences, certification/education, communications, postage, utilities, rents and leases, office equipment maintenance, vehicle maintenance, legal advertising, office supplies, operating supplies, fuel, subscriptions and dues, and equipment. The total proposed expenses are $422,815, with additional funds required from the General Fund.
