Description
Louisville and Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District seeks qualified contractors to provide as-needed water damage cleanup services for residential and commercial properties affected by flooding, sewer backups, or sewer-main backflush. Services include water extraction and sanitization of affected areas and items, with Courtesy Clean and Full Clean service levels determined by the District. Full Clean assignments may include removal and disposal of damaged flooring, drywall, paneling, baseboards, personal property, and other damaged materials, including limited dumpster or pod rental and approved moving services. Contractors must provide trained and certified personnel, equipment, labor, transportation, 24-hour response capability, and required safety, restoration, documentation, and customer-notification procedures. The contract is for one year from award, with up to four successive 12-month renewals, and there is no guaranteed volume of work.
