Description
Lincoln Public Schools is seeking a contractor to demolish and remove the existing acid neutralization tank at Lincoln High School and furnish and install a replacement self-supporting, non-pressurized tank made of rotationally molded high-density polyethylene. The work includes associated chemical-resistant piping, fittings, connections, plumbing work, installation, cleaning, protection, and required product submittals. The replacement tank must include an initial fill of neutralization media and one complete refill, with full media replacement one year after installation. Addendum #1 confirms that the tank design was revised to address doorway access, all existing flow meters and valves shown on the plans are to be demolished, and no new controls are required because the system is passive. The contractor must provide required permits, site protections, licenses, insurance, bid security, references, proposal forms, and construction documentation.
