Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a one-time repair of the Mitsubishi R-410A comfort-cooling system serving Building B249. Work includes leak detection and brazing repairs as needed, refrigerant recovery, evacuation, recharging, pressure and vacuum testing, and functional commissioning. The contractor must provide all labor, tools, equipment, consumables, and materials, and comply with applicable EPA Section 608, OSHA, and VA infection-control requirements. The contractor must document repair actions, test and commissioning results, refrigerant quantities, and regulatory compliance. If the leak cannot be found or repaired, the contractor must submit a revised proposal for corrective work; no additional work may proceed without written authorization. The stated performance period is 30 calendar days from notice to proceed.
