The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for replacement of internal components in three Rosemount 6888 oxygen sensors. The work includes replacing the 18-inch standard cells, 18-inch heater strut assemblies, Hastelloy components with Vee Deflectors rated for service to 1,300°F, and flange gaskets, using new original-equipment-manufacturer parts or manufacturer-approved replacements. Equipment must be new; used or refurbished equipment is not acceptable. The notice requests information from capable vendors, including whether they are the manufacturer or an authorized representative, and a courtesy quote for market research. It is a sources-sought notice, not a solicitation or commitment to award a contract. The draft performance work statement describes a six-month firm-fixed-price service contract.
