Description
The City of Lakeland's Department of Information Technology is soliciting a vendor to provide annual electronics recycling services for computers, laptops, monitors, servers, printers, scanners, copiers, UPS units, televisions, and other peripherals. Services include monthly pickups from Lakeland Electric, additional pickups for bulk specialty items when needed, detailed inventories of collected equipment, and payment within 30 days of pickup. The contractor must DoD-wipe or destroy hard drives and properly dispose of batteries. The initial contract term is one year with four additional one-year renewal options by mutual consent. Bidders must provide required insurance, a certificate of existing insurance or affidavit of insurability, notarized indemnification and human-trafficking affidavits, business-registration documentation, a completed W-9, and other certifications and questionnaire responses through the electronic procurement portal.
