Description
The City of Laredo is soliciting bids for complete installation of new 12-by-12-inch ceramic floor tile throughout the interior of a municipal housing unit at 553-A Pinecrest Circle. The project covers approximately 1,350 square feet across four bedrooms, two bathrooms, the living room, kitchen, dining area, hallways, closets, pantries, and other applicable interior areas. The contractor must provide labor, tools, equipment, supervision, surface preparation, tile installation, grout, finishing, cleanup, removal and disposal of existing materials, and installation of new 1-by-4-inch baseboard throughout the unit. Municipal Housing will provide the ceramic tile and other designated project materials, while the contractor must receive, protect, transport within the work area, and install them. The contractor must also provide temporary toilet and waste services, obtain required permits and inspections, protect and repair existing property, perform grounds maintenance, and provide a written one-year warranty on materials and workmanship. The project must be completed within 15 calendar days. A completed Conflict of Interest Questionnaire is required with the bid. The City of Laredo's local vendor preference ordinance 2018-O-175 provides a 5% preference for local vendors. Bids may be submitted electronically through Cit-E-Bid or by hand delivery; mailed, emailed, telegraphic, and faxed bids will not be considered.
