Description
The City of Kenner is soliciting bids for as-needed furnishing and installation of flooring. The scope includes modular carpet tile, luxury vinyl tile, floor leveling, rubber cove base, metal or rubber carpet edging, removal of existing carpet and LVT, and furnishing-only options. The contractor must provide labor, materials, tools, preparation, installation, cleanup, and recycling or reclamation of removed carpet and installation waste. Products must meet detailed performance, sustainability, recycling, warranty, and certification requirements, including third-party verified environmental product declarations, specified sustainability certifications, product data, samples, shop drawings, maintenance information, warranty documentation, and a carbon-neutral impact estimate. The agreement is effective October 25, 2026, through October 24, 2028, with an annual amount not to exceed $75,000.00. Payment and performance bonds are required if the contractor's submission exceeds $25,000.00; bid security is required for bids of $250,000.00 or more.
