Description
The City of Westlake Village is soliciting bids for rehabilitation of the two public restrooms at Berniece Bennett Park. Work includes temporary fencing; demolition and disposal of existing toilets, urinals, sinks, stall dividers, tile, and flooring; substrate preparation; installation of city-furnished plumbing fixtures, light fixtures, wall dividers, mirrors, toilet accessories, flooring, and wall tile; plumbing connections; and interior painting. The contractor must furnish all ancillary installation materials, hardware, labor, equipment, and incidentals required for a complete installation. The project is a public work subject to California prevailing-wage, Department of Industrial Relations registration, licensing, and compliance requirements. Bidders must hold a valid California Class B General Building contractor's license, attend the mandatory onsite pre-bid meeting, provide a bid bond of at least 10% of the bid amount, and self-perform at least 50% of the work. The anticipated construction duration is 25 working days from the Notice to Proceed.
