Description
The City of Laredo is soliciting a turnkey purchase and installation of a wired IP camera system for the approximately 61,000-square-foot Sames Auto Arena. The scope includes 32 IP cameras and mounts, a network video recorder, Wisenet Wave video management software, surveillance storage sized for an estimated 60 days of recording, PoE switches, joystick controllers, Cat6A plenum-shielded cabling, four 43-inch 4K LED televisions, two computers for surveillance and control locations, and related equipment and materials. Hanwha Vision is the preferred brand; Bosch and Axis are identified as approved equivalent camera brands subject to City approval. The solicitation's equipment schedule identifies the specified Hanwha camera models and quantities, including one PNM-C34404RQPZ, nine QNE-C9013RL, six XNP-C9253R, seven XNP-C9253R, six PNM-C13022RV, and three PNM-C7083RVD cameras. The awarded contractor will be responsible for design coordination, permits, labor, materials, freight, installation, conversion facilitation, testing, training, project management, cleanup, and any other costs required for completion. The proposal must include a technical approach and site-utilization plan, company profile, qualifications and experience, past performance with governmental agencies during the past three years, implementation plan and schedule, training plan, maintenance and warranty terms, bill of materials, itemized cost proposal, and schedule of values. The contractor must provide one year of on-site and remote support, including 24/7 Tier 2 helpdesk support, remote support when required, and a four-hour on-site response time when required. The project schedule should conclude within six weeks after issuance of the purchase order, subject to stated exceptions.
