Description
Albany County Department of Public Works seeks qualified bidders to provide annual gas detection calibration services at three garage locations: Coeymans Garage, Knox Garage, and Colonie Garage. The scope covers 20 gas sensors per year—eight Armstrong sensors, four Brasch sensors, and eight Macurco sensors—and bidders may bid on all three sites or any one site. Services include two days of on-site service annually, appropriate calibration gases, adapters and regulators, annual calibration reports containing detector serial numbers and calibration data, annual replacement calibration gas cylinders, replacement parts when required due to failed calibration, preventative maintenance, emergency service with a guaranteed 24-hour response time, and inspections supporting OSHA and other applicable regulatory compliance. Bidders must provide documentation confirming technician certification for the applicable sensor manufacturer. The bid form lists annual pricing of $4,000 for each site for each of three years, for a stated total of $12,000 per site over the three-year term. No bid security or performance bond is required.
