The New York State Office of General Services (OGS) is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to seek a contractor to provide qualified personnel and resources to ensure the utility systems are functioning and allowing continued operations at various locations in Albany, New York. The work is divided into two Lots: Lot 1 covers the Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller Empire State Plaza (ESP) and the W. Averell Harriman State Office Building Campus, while Lot 2 covers the Wadsworth Center at the Empire State Plaza (Labs) and the Cultural Education Center (CEC). The contractor will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing, and operating industrial HVAC systems, electrical systems up to 600 VAC, and other utility infrastructure. Proposers must meet specific minimum qualifications for each Lot, including five years of experience in utility-based industrial systems and industrial HVAC maintenance in large facilities. The contract will be awarded for each Lot, with the possibility of a single contract if the same proposer is awarded both Lots.
