Description
The City of Albany, through its Albany Water Department, is soliciting sealed lump-sum bids for all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction needed for stormwater improvements along the Hackett Boulevard Corridor from Forest Avenue to Holland Avenue. The work includes demolition and removals; trenching, backfilling, and installation of precast concrete stormwater structures and storm piping; a new enhanced subsurface stormwater management system with an outlet control structure and real-time adaptive control valve equipment; associated electrical work for power and communications; in-line check valves; and site restoration. The project also includes relocation and reinstallation of two 4-inch underground electrical conduits and existing pull boxes, utility verification and test pits, traffic and pedestrian access maintenance, erosion and sediment controls, and compliance with prevailing-wage, certified-payroll, insurance, contractor-licensing, bonding, DBE, and City MWBE requirements. Substantial completion is required by October 1, 2027, with no schedule extensions permitted.
