Description
The City of Orlando is seeking qualification statements from experienced, certified, and licensed Florida general contractors for a continuing services contract covering as-needed repairs, renovations, maintenance, and upgrades at City parking garages and surface lots. Work may include waterproofing and moisture management; expansion-joint, concrete, crack, spall, sealant, drainage, paving, and traffic-topping repairs; stair, handrail, barrier-cable, lighting, signage, ADA, safety, code-compliance, facade-cleaning, painting, and corrosion-mitigation work; and related structural and parking-facility improvements. The contract will support multiple task orders over a three-year base term, with three additional one-year extensions possible, for a cumulative maximum of six years. The City may make multiple awards, and there is no guaranteed work or overall project budget. Awarded contractors will respond to project-specific packages with lump-sum, not-to-exceed proposals. Mandatory qualifications include at least five years of relevant experience, three completed repair or renovation projects of at least $100,000 each, a local office within 100 miles of Orlando, and a surety letter confirming at least $500,000 in bonding capacity. A 100% payment and performance bond is required for any task order valued at $200,000 or more.
