Description
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority intends to procure FAA-qualified uAvionix VTU-20 ADS-B Vehicle Movement Area Transmitters (VMATs) to provide real-time vehicle-position data to air traffic controllers, nearby aircraft, and similarly equipped vehicles. The scope includes furnishing the hardware, installation, and ongoing operations and support services for five years at Orlando International Airport and Orlando Executive Airport. This is a notice of intent to award a noncompetitive single-source procurement, not a solicitation. PASSUR Aerospace, Inc. is identified as the intended vendor based on its FAA-qualified VMAT solution, partnership with uAvionix, and capability to provide compliant implementation and lifecycle support. Interested parties may submit a capability statement to determine whether competition is in the Authority’s best interest.
