Description
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority is seeking one or more contractors to manage and perform inspection, testing, cleaning, calibration, adjustment, preventive maintenance, upgrades, modifications, emergency response, and repair services for uninterruptible power supplies and associated batteries. The scope includes equipment at terminals, parking garages, remote buildings, and airside facilities at Orlando International Airport and Orlando Executive Airport, with equipment potentially added, removed, or modified during the contract term. The contractor must provide qualified OEM-certified technicians, trained and licensed electrical personnel, tools, vehicles, calibrated testing equipment, OEM parts, safety equipment, reports, work-order tracking, and continuous emergency support. UPS and battery systems must be inspected and serviced four times annually, with emergency response within two hours when technicians are onsite and within four hours at other times. The solicitation requires at least five years of recent relevant experience, three similar references, proof of insurability and bondability, numerous certifications and acknowledgments, detailed staffing, safety, transition, methodology, reporting, and service-level plans, and pricing for a three-year base period with two one-year options.
