Description
The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority is soliciting a contractor to manage and perform annual inspections, cleaning, calibration, adjustment, testing, infrared testing, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, modifications, upgrades, documentation, and reporting for electrical switchgear equipment at Orlando International Airport and Orlando Executive Airport. The scope covers switchgear, circuit breakers, automatic and manual transfer switches, current transformers, motor control centers, switchboards, and related equipment, including equipment listed in the solicitation attachments. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, tools, test and safety equipment, materials, supplies, OEM parts, qualified electricians, and factory-certified switchgear technicians. Services include 24/7 emergency response, with physical response within two hours when technicians are on site and within four hours otherwise, as well as daily reporting, infrared inspection, work-order documentation, safety compliance, equipment tracking, and corrective repairs. The solicitation requires a three-year base period with two one-year options, a 2% combined Local Developing Business/Veteran Business Enterprise participation goal, proof of insurability and bondability, at least five years of relevant experience, and at least three similar references. Responses must address the vendor questionnaire, technical approach, staffing, transition, safety and quality plans, financial capability, service-level requirements, and pricing.
