Description
Inland Empire Utilities Agency is seeking information from interested third-party organizations regarding potential lease-based energy-related uses of its 13.97-acre Solids Handling Facility site. Concepts may include onsite organics processing, biogas or renewable natural gas production, food-waste processing, electricity generation, and related gas, organic-waste, and energy-management activities. Respondents may propose use of existing digesters, storage tanks, gas-management equipment, pipelines, utilities, and other site assets, which are offered as-is without warranties regarding condition or functionality. Submissions must describe the proposed site concept, technical approach, development and operating activities, construction and infrastructure needs, permitting and environmental strategy, schedules, safety and quality programs, site plan, process-flow diagram, anticipated equipment, feedstock agreements, qualifications, relevant experience, and safety performance. Respondents should also provide preliminary costs and address the intended use of the facility in relation to gas, organic-waste, and energy management. The request is for information only and does not guarantee a lease, contract, or other agreement; the agency may retain submissions for informational purposes or engage with selected respondents after review.
