Description
The Imperial Irrigation District is soliciting proposals from qualified Engineering, Procurement, and Construction contractors for the El Centro Generating Station Unit 4 Repowering Project. The scope includes design, engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and turnover of a complete, operable, and fully integrated 113 MW natural gas-fired reciprocating internal combustion engine generating facility to replace the existing Unit 4 boiler. The contractor must meet the solicitation’s technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and performance guarantees. Addendum 7 states that additional technical documents concerning engine ventilation, heat rejection, and lubricating oil specifications are confidential and will be provided to a designated respondent representative after IID receives a signed Confidential and Non-Disclosure Agreement. Requests for those documents should be emailed to IID; the addendum recommends submitting the request by October 30, 2026. The addendum also provides responses to technical questions, with the referenced documents disclosed under the same NDA process.
