Description
The Tucson Airport Authority is requesting Statements of Qualifications from construction manager at risk/general contractor firms for modernization of the checked baggage inspection system at Tucson International Airport. The project includes construction of a new checked baggage inspection and screening facility connected to the existing terminal; installation and integration of a modern baggage handling and screening system; terminal modifications; demolition and removal of existing screening pods and baggage-handling equipment; utility relocations; site and civil improvements; structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, technology, security, communications, controls, commissioning, testing, and phasing work. The submission is a qualifications-based response and must not include prices or pricing information. Respondents must submit one original and five copies by the stated deadline. Firms and subcontractors must be properly licensed or explain any claimed licensing exemption. The successful proposer will provide subcontractor participation information and comply with applicable disadvantaged-business and federal grant requirements, including FAA, Arizona Department of Transportation, TSA, Title VI, trade-restriction, lobbying, and recycled-material requirements.
