Description
The City of Tucson is soliciting a complete turnkey automated traffic enforcement safety device system focused on red-light and speed enforcement. The scope includes furnishing, installing, implementing, operating, monitoring, maintaining, and supporting intersection camera systems, portable speed photo-radar units, and mobile speed-radar systems. The contractor must provide the hardware, software, communications, integrations, training, technical support, reporting, analytics, citation evidence management, and ongoing system maintenance required for the program. The City expects at least five intersection deployments and is interested in at least six fully equipped mobile and/or portable speed-radar units, with additional units available at contract pricing. The contractor will also process violations, obtain vehicle-registration information, support Tucson City Court integrations and proceedings, print and mail citations, provide court testimony, respond to public inquiries, and provide statewide Arizona process-service support. Requirements include cybersecurity and criminal-justice-information controls, background checks, data residency and retention protections, accessibility compliance, insurance, applicable Arizona licenses, and detailed technical, implementation, pricing, qualifications, experience, reference, litigation, and subcontractor information. The contract term is one year with up to four additional one-year extensions.
