Description
The City of Bangor is soliciting qualifications from consulting firms to provide comprehensive architectural, engineering, planning, and project administration services for Bangor International Airport development projects. The anticipated work supports portions of the airport's updated Airport Improvement Program Capital Improvement Plan and may include taxiway, apron, terminal, deicing, fuel facility, passenger boarding bridge, and related airport infrastructure projects. The selected firm will support projects from inception through completion, including FAA coordination, engineering and architectural design, planning, construction-phase procurement assistance, contract preparation, compliance with federal grant assurances, construction inspection when applicable, and project cost and schedule control. Proposals are limited to 15 pages and must address firm information, team organization, relevant airport experience, three recent references, staff availability, a tax delinquency and felony conviction certification, and other qualifications information. The solicitation also requires insurance coverage, DBE participation or documented good-faith efforts, and compliance with airport security and federal requirements.
