Description
Pima County is soliciting bids from qualified vehicle dealers to provide new, unused light-duty vehicles, including sedans, trucks, vans, sport utility vehicles, crossovers, specialty vehicles, and equivalent current-production models. The contract may include factory- or dealer-installed auxiliary equipment and specialty upfits such as toolboxes, racks, shelving, partitions, liftgates, service bodies, utility bodies, towing systems, and trailer brake controllers. Vehicles must meet the stated federal, state, safety, emissions, and Arizona Department of Transportation requirements, and must be manufactured or assembled in the United States. The resulting contract is intended for multiple contractors and will support as-needed purchases through delivery orders. Contractors must provide transparent unit pricing, manufacturer incentives, invoices, pricing calculations, delivery, manuals, warranty documentation, warranty repairs, and service support. A local service facility or authorized service network within 25 miles of 1291 S. Mission Road, Tucson, Arizona 85713 is required. The initial term is one year with four one-year renewal options. Bids must include a completed and signed 14-page Offer Agreement, required corporate-registration and dealer-license documentation, and applicable local-facility information; insurance certification and any performance bond are post-award requirements rather than submission-time requirements.
